Why have you decided to stop selling products on TarGard.com? Is TarGard having financial issues?

Our company remains financially sound, but rising supply costs, increasing shipping fees, and growing competition are forcing us to make significant changes. For the past 60+ years, we’ve worked hard to offer TarGard products to consumers just like you at affordable prices. Given our rapidly changing business climate, we are unable to continue selling and shipping our filter products out of our small facility in Traverse City, MI.

Right now, we’re hard at work ensuring that you can still order your favorite TarGard products online in 2025 – at similar or slightly BETTER prices than you pay today – via Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, and/or eBay.com.

Please be aware that when we cease shipping online orders out of our warehouse in Michigan on 1/7/25, we will no longer have the staffing, systems, or facilities required to fulfill orders that we receive via phone or mail. We recognize that this will be a big change for some of you – and for that, we sincerely apologize.

I am a long-time TarGard mail-order customer. Why won’t I be able to purchase my TarGard orders via mail-order starting on 1/8/2025?

Due to rapidly rising costs and dropping profitability, we will be forced to shut down our direct shipping facilities and processes in early 2025. This change will eliminate our ability to process direct customer orders of ALL KINDS – whether they come to us via TarGard.com, our phone system, and/or through the mail. We recognize that this will have a major impact on some of you and we sincerely apologize. As much as we would love to keep supporting our remaining mail order and phone order customers as we have for the past several decades, starting early 2025 we will simply not have the people, equipment, or systems in place to do so.
